Winter Loops

Winter Loops!!

Held at Bloomer Park, starting at the STONE SHELTER. This is a 1.5 mile loop through the trails, each loop will end in the Stone Shelter. There will be a nice fire inside the Shelter, where you can run right through, warm your hands, change up your layers. It’s going to be FUN  🙂 KEEP IN MIND… This is Michigan. Trail conditions could be snow covered, icy, muddy! Weather could be snowy, rainy, cold, freezing! Be prepared for the worst!… Hope for the best 🙂 2 and 4 hour timed race which means… *You can do as many loops as you can, in the allotted time! *If you’re going for a certain distance, stop when you reach it! *Must finish in the 2 or 4 hour time limit, any loops after will not count.

TIME: Everyone starts @ 10:00am
Time Limits = 2 hours or 4 hours
*2 Hours: 10:00am – 12:00pm
*4 Hours: 10:00am – 2:00pm

DISTANCE: TIMED EVENT, you have control of your distance!!

2 Hour
$28= January – February 3, 2018
$33= February 4 – February 23, 2018 6pm
Race Day= $35 cash/check only
4 Hour
$38= January – February 3, 2018
$43= February 4 – February 23, 2018 6pm
Race Day= $45 cash/check only


Stone Shelter- first shelter on left, after passing pay booth.


Loop will be a 1.5 mile loop consisting of wide and single track trail, starting at the Stone Shelter. First mile is flat with a slight decline!! Last half mile heads you back to shelter with a slight incline. NO MAJOR HILLS  🙂  A nice mixture to keep things from getting boring. Total Elevation = 90feet, per loop.
Each loop finishes in the Stone Shelter where each participant will give timing booth their bib # before starting next loop. It is participants responsibility to ensure we have your bib #, we want all your hard work accounted for.
**This is a trail run in Michigan. Trails could be dirt, snow, ice, water. Weather could be warm and sunny or cold and snowing. Be prepared for anything.

Aid Station:  Start/Finish… every 1.5 miles you will have aid, no need to carry anything 🙂
**Water, Gatorade.
**Shelter has plenty of room to Drop Off any specialties you may need/want during race.


Race day only – 8:30 am – 9:45 am


PULL TAG- After each loop, participant MUST shout out bib# . If you do not give Timing person bib #, loop will not count. It is your responsibility to give your bib # to timing booth.
